Cultura in cucina - NORVEGIA : Viaggio tra fiordi e cascate

La Norvegia è uno dei più bei posti d'Europa, con tutte le sue bellezze naturali che possano esistere. Viaggiando comodi in un treno di montagna, da dove si possono ammirare cascate stupende, vallate immense, una flora dai colori smaglianti ed una fauna unica. Navigando i suoi fiordi, ci si trova davanti uno spettacolo naturale eccezionale, di rara bellezza, con fiordi a strapiombo sul mare alti superiore agli 800 metri s.l.m. . I suoi paesini che, si affacciano sui fiordi, con le loro tipiche case dai colori diversi sono molto caratteristiche. La cucina locale, è prevalentemente a base di pesce, tra cui: salmone e aringhe affumicate, baccalà e merluzzo e altri..., che fanno dei loro piatti delle prelibatezze per palati fini. Il tutto contribuisce ad una vacanza rilassante e piacevole che soddisfa in tutti i sensi il visitatore.

Potato Soufflé Recipe

Potato Soufflé is an easy recipe for such a comforting dish perfect for fall tables. Love the way it puffs in the oven and how the steam comes out when you start dig in it. The breadcrumbs form a delicious crust on the bottom and edges and the cheddar and Parmesan cheese bring such an amazing flavor. The chives are not to be forgotten as well as they bring color and their unique taste.


Makes 4 servings

2 tbsp (30g) butter, plus extra for greasing
3 tsp breadcrumbs, for coating the ramekins
1 large potato (300g), cooked with peel on
1 1/3 cups (85g) mature Cheddar, grated
1/3 cup (30g) Parmesan Cheese, grated
2 tbsp fresh chives
2 eggs
freshly ground black pepper
6 tbsp milk
paprika, for garnish


1. Preheat the oven to 450F(220C) and put a baking sheet in the oven to heat up. Butter 4 ramekin dishes and dust with breadcrumbs.
2. Peel the cooked potato and place in a medium bowl. Use a potato masher to mesh it well.
3. Grate the cheese and separate egg yolks from the whites. Add cheese, chives, black pepper and egg yolks over the mashed potato.Stir to combine.
4. In a small pan warm the milk with butter until the butter melts and pour over the potato mixture. Stir to combine.
5. Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the potato mixture.
6. Fill the prepared ramekins with potato mixture and sprinkle paprika on top. Place in the oven on the preheated baking sheet and bake for 15-17 minutes until puffed and golden.

NEW RECIPE FROM OUR ALLA! - Cheese Puffs Recipe | Пирожки с сыром из слоеного теста

Ingredients :
2 sheets of puff pastry
200 gr or 2 cups of Grated Mozarella 
200 gr or 2 cups of feta cheese 
200 gr or 2 cups of cheddar cheese 
Fresh parsley/ dill
1 egg


Step 1 : Preheat your oven to 180 C / 350 F.
Step 2 : In a large bowl, mix all your cheese together and crumble the feta cheese. 
Step 3 : Finely chop your parsley and add into the cheese mixture. Mix well and divide the mixture in half. We will be using half of the mixed cheese mixture for each puff pastry.
Step 4 : Roll out your puff pastry sheet, make 3 cuts across and then 3 cuts down. We are looking at 6 same squares. 
Step 5 : Make a small cheeseball in your hand and place in a middle of each pastry. Then fold the corners into the middle and pinch the sides, so there is no air left. Once they are all sealed, place them on a baking tray. 
Step 6 : In a small cup, break your egg and mix with a little bit of water. Coat each pastry with some egg wash and place in the oven to bake for about 15-20 min. You can increase the heat to 200 C / 400 F in the last 5 min to give it a nice golden colour
Step 7 : Enjoy hot with some salad or on its own! Its great hot and cold.

Пирожки – звучит аппетитно! А если это пирожки с сыром – то еще соблазнительнее. Готовить пирожки с сыром можно из разного теста, с разным сыром – обычным твердым, сулугуни, фета и т.д., ну а дополнять сырную начинку можно различными продуктами. Эти пирожки готовятся очень быстро. Их удобно брать на пикник, в дорогу или на работу.

200 гр Моцарелла
200 гр сыра фета
200 гр сыра чеддер
Свежая зелень петрушки / укропа
1 яйцо
